Use and Protection of Customer Information

No Sale or Distribution

Purpose Limitation

- The implementation of a financial plan directed by the customer and a certified financial professional.
Any other use is expressly prohibited unless authorized in writing by the customer and permitted under applicable law.
No Independent Retention
Personal information obtained in the course of business must not be retained, stored, or duplicated outside of systems authorized by:
- Jormungandr Corporation,
- The applicable insurance carrier, or
- An approved financial planning partner,
Violations of these policies may result in disciplinary action, termination of affiliation with Jormungandr Corporation, and potential legal consequences, including liability under state and federal privacy and data protection laws.
Texas Regulatory Compliance and DRLP Oversight
For insurance business conducted in the state of Texas, Jormungandr Corporation complies with all applicable regulations issued by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), including the designation of a Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP).
The DRLP is an officer, director, or active partner of the agency who is individually licensed and responsible for overseeing insurance activities conducted under the agency’s license. In accordance with TDI requirements, the DRLP must:
- Hold an active resident license in the state of Texas, and
- Maintain non-resident licenses, as needed, in any additional states where Jormungandr Corporation conducts business or solicits insurance products.
The DRLP has the authority to:
- Inspect and review sales practices and application activities of all agents, brokers, and financial professionals affiliated with Jormungandr Corporation;
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies;
- Investigate any suspected violations or misuse of customer information; and
- Initiate corrective action, including disciplinary measures, where appropriate.
All affiliated professionals are subject to DRLP oversight and must fully cooperate with any regulatory, legal, or internal compliance review initiated by the DRLP or their authorized regulator.
